The Real Estate Investment Association of Houston (REIA HOUSTON) does not render legal, tax, economic or investment advice. Persons should consult with their own professional advisors as to risks and legal, tax, economic or investment implications in matters concerning investments.

Members/Guests must do their own due diligence and take personal responsibility for their choices.

The REIA HOUSTON does not investigate its members, nor vouch for, nor make representation as to the honesty, integrity, reliability, motives or resources of its members, guests, officers, directors, employees, speakers, agents or vendors.

A person, in consideration for his/her acceptance as a member/guest of The REIA HOUSTON, hereby releases, discharges and agrees to indemnify The REIA HOUSTON, its officers, directors, volunteers, members, guests, employees, agents, contractors, speakers and vendors from any liabilities now accrued, or which may hereafter accrue, from their actions, inactions or communications made by The REIA HOUSTON or its officers, directors, volunteers, members, guests, employees, contractors, agents, speakers and vendors in or through their respective capacities with The REIA HOUSTON.

Members/Guests agree to comply with the Code of Ethics and the By-Laws of The REIA HOUSTON.

No implied endorsements or warranties of products, persons, literature or ideas presented at any meetings or in any email or online discussion board activity of The REIA HOUSTON by its members, guests or speakers are made by The REIA HOUSTON, its officers, directors, employees, agents or contractors. Any literature which may be distributed during meetings or any email or online discussion board activity of The REIA HOUSTON have not been reviewed or approved in advance by The REIA HOUSTON.

All REIA HOUSTON members and guests are encouraged to do their own research and due diligence regarding ideas and concepts obtained at The REIA HOUSTON meetings or through any email or online discussion board activity.

Applicant agrees and acknowledges that The REIA HOUSTON may enforce these codes, terms, rules and regulations at its sole and absolute discretion and may terminate any membership at any time for any reason whatsoever.

Consultation with appropriate professional advisors is highly recommended by The REIA HOUSTON prior to the implementation of any ideas or concepts obtained at its meetings.

Members and guests agree not to market any classes, training, coaching or mentoring to other members or guests of The REIA HOUSTON. If this provision is violated, The REIA HOUSTON will terminate your membership.
